This photo was an accident, as I was aiming at exposing the foreground landscape in colours and light. For some reason it ignored the light (probably because I accidently measured the light of the reflection in water instead of the grass). However, I found this dark version much more attractive than the light one.
Canon EOS 350D, Singh-Ray neutral circular polarizer, Singh-Ray Galen Rowell graduated ND filter 3stops hard, plus a tripod.
Funny how those things work though isn't it. You did a fabulous job exposing for this, the composition first of all is superb - the strongest part of this in my humble opinion The grass in the foreground just balances so incredibly well with the hills and land at the other end of the lake. And you have the reflections of the gorgeous colours down on the water. What I really like about this, is that I pick up just a wee little bit of brown/gold in the grass in the foreground and a slight scene of a rolling hill on the other side of the lake. You really did a tremendous job, mate

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community.
