i remember when i was in finland in may this year, instead of going to sauna i went to swim in a lake.. after coming out i saw it's name was "ice hole" and then they told me it was iced some weeks ago.. that was freezing, totally
I did something similar many years ago while I was fly-fishing. Stepped on an ice covered rock, the feet went out and I smacked straight down on my spine on that rock. Took a few minutes to make sure I could still feel my feet.
Not funny, but I certainly could feel your splash.
