I know you are disappointed, no nudity! :|

But this is where I learned to respect slippery rock and minus degrees of Celcius. I fell and landed on my ass in water. I remember as I fell I was wondering how this would end - I had no idea how deep the water was. Fortunately it wasn't deep enough. Damn, it was funny :D :D

Canons EOS 350D, EFs 10-22, Singh-Ray Galen Rowell hard ND graduated filter (1 and 3 f-stops combined). No equipment harmed!

i remember when i was in finland in may this year, instead of going to sauna i went to swim in a lake.. after coming out i saw it's name was "ice hole" and then they told me it was iced some weeks ago.. that was freezing, totally :D

Glad you kept your camera high and dry.

I did something similar many years ago while I was fly-fishing. Stepped on an ice covered rock, the feet went out and I smacked straight down on my spine on that rock. Took a few minutes to make sure I could still feel my feet.

Not funny, but I certainly could feel your splash.

Lovely shot, BTW.

haha! for us photographers, if we go down, we don't bring our cameras down with us. we wear our cuts and bruises with pride, knowing we saved our camera. ;)
