Artist's Comments

:ahoy:

Canon EOS 350D, EF-S 18-55, Singh-Ray neutral circular polarizer, shutter speed: 10 seconds.

The same scene as in the other waterfall photo, but with more emphasis on the rings and with less distracting elements, as well as a more accurate representation of how the colours really looked like.

Criticism is welcome!

really amazing..:+fav:
have you tried it in blue tones?? I think it would be wonderful..
:iconfishermang:
Look in my gallery and you will find a blue tone version, but with different composition. Here I tried to bring out the colours as they really were, more representing the atmosphere of autumn.

Thanks!

I agree with you..the original colours are more representative of autumn's magic..

I love this one because of the earthy brown tone represented in the water... blows my mind how beautiful it is, and how the still water (colour of) compliments the rocks up at the top of the frame and how the stillness of the water there contrasts so strongly with the mad rush of water of the waterfall created by your exposure time. Great work, nice composition here too :)

Decide what you want, and then focus upon it. For it is through focusing upon it that you will attract it. That is the process of creating.
